Dr. Geoffrey Herzog is a proud Idaho native, born in Pocatello and raised with a strong commitment to excellence in both academics and athletics. He attended Century High School before earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Idaho in 2007.

He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2011, followed by a Certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, in 2012.


Professional Excellence

During his training, Dr. Herzog was recognized for his leadership and clinical excellence, receiving the Baylor College of Dentistry Resident Scholarship Award for Outstanding Performance and the Lux Scholarship Award for Outstanding Leadership and Excellence in 2011.

Committed to lifelong learning, he has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in advanced dental procedures, including:

  • Endodontics (Root Canal Therapy)
  • Sports Dentistry
  • Orthodontics

Dr. Herzog is also a certified provider of ClearCorrect Orthodontics and has earned a certificate in Straight Wire Orthodontics from the American Orthodontic Society.


Professional Leadership

Dr. Herzog is actively involved in organized dentistry and professional leadership. He is a member of:

  • Idaho State Dental Association
  • Academy of General Dentistry
  • American Orthodontic Society
  • Team ACT Study Club (member since 2017)

He previously served as President of the Southwest Idaho Dental Society. In 2017, he earned Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a distinction recognizing dedication to continuing education and exceptional patient care.

In 2020, he was inducted into the prestigious International College of Dentists, an honor extended to only a small percentage of dentists worldwide in recognition of integrity, leadership, and service.


Giving Back

Outside the practice, Dr. Herzog is passionate about serving his community. He serves as a board member for First Tee of Idaho, supporting youth development through golf and life skills.

He also regularly participates in community outreach and has led dental mission trips abroad, most recently providing dental care in Punta Gorda, Belize for patients without access to essential dental services.


Life Outside the Office

After practicing in Austin, Texas, for more than three years, Dr. Herzog was thrilled to return home to Idaho, where he now proudly serves families throughout the Treasure Valley.

When he’s not caring for patients, he enjoys fly fishing, golfing, skiing, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.

Dr. Herzog has been happily married to his wife, Chelsea, since 2019, and together they are raising their two children. Family is at the heart of everything he does, and he treasures the time they spend together.
