We believe that a strong, long-term relationship starts with your very first appointment. During your initial visit, we take the required time to review your medical and dental history, properly diagnose any immediate concerns, and perform a comprehensive dental evaluation to build a personalized treatment plan for your optimal oral health.

What to Expect at Your First Appointment

Your initial visit typically includes a comprehensive examination and a discussion of your diagnosis and treatment options.

• Same-Day Care: In many cases, routine care or initial treatments can begin on the same day as your consultation.

• Complex Cases: For complex medical histories or extensive treatment plans, a detailed initial evaluation will be completed first, followed by a dedicated appointment to begin treatment on another day.

Checklist for Your Initial Visit

To help us make your visit as smooth and efficient as possible, please bring the following items with you:

• Dental X-Rays: Any recent X-rays taken by a previous dentist (if applicable).

• Medication List: A complete list of any prescription or over-the-counter medications you are currently taking.

• Insurance Information: Your dental insurance card and any completed forms. Having these ready helps us process your claims without delay.

Transferring Previous X-Rays

If your previous dentist or physician has taken X-rays, you can request that they forward them directly to our office. If time is limited before your appointment, you may pick them up to bring with you. If additional diagnostic images are required, we can conveniently take them at our facility using our advanced digital imaging technology.

Important Patient Guidelines

• Minors: All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for their consultation and treatment.

• Medical Conditions & Alert Requirements: Please notify our office prior to your appointment if you have any underlying medical conditions (e.g., high blood pressure, diabetes, artificial joints or heart valves, history of rheumatic fever) or if you are taking medications such as heart drugs, daily aspirin, or blood thinners (anticoagulant therapy).
